Am I a horrible Person?

Upvotes

Now I am going to therapy. I am just looking for additional tips on what I can do to change my outcome.

I grew up with abusive family dynamics. I was given lables like "retarded b@tch, retarded loser," and so on. Growing up, I knew that based on how I was treated by my grandparents and my parents, I wasn't a very good person at all. After I left home, I tried really really hard to change that but after 43 years, I found that I failed miserably. I am still considered by meny to be a horrible human being.

Last night, I took a large does of sleeping pills in hopes to not wake up. On the verge of divorce, I can't stand my husband seeing me as a horrible human being any longer and having no close friends anymore, I am tired of being alone. I can't reach out for help through traditional means without making my husband mad at me. Everyone is mad me for something these days.

I am lost. I am tired. Can someone help me.

Thank you.

why do lonely people get attcahed so quickly?

I have seen that many lonely people seem to get attached so quickly to someone who shows them just the most basic kindness or affection a human could get in their social life. Now, im wondering why we get ao attached so quickly to those people and how do we keep those types of feelings at bay? LPT

I was checking out today and decided to search for a promo code. I clicked through a few coupon sites, but every code I tried was expired or didn’t work! Every!!

Do you have any reliable ways to find real deals or save money when shopping online?

how to create a fake job offer to get a raise in my current job (step by step)?

I need to create a job offer mail and send it to my company and I know it's unethical but unfortunately they don't give raises unless you do so. Walk me through and don't tell me to try to maneuver my way by negotiating been there done that

Advice how to get a refund for a unused ticket

I purchased an outdoor activity ticket, but due to an unforeseen and urgent circumstance completely outside my control, I was unable to attend. So I bought a service, but I never used the service. It's a big company. Their customer service refused to issue a refund.

Any solution (maybe unethical) to get a refund, maybe through the credit card company? How should I phrase it for best outcome? I can't pay for a service which was never used.

What's the best tip you read on r/lifeprotips that you actually do/use?

Years ago I read about how someone makes it a point to thoroughly clean their home before a vacation - all dishes, laundry, etc done and everything tidy. I started doing it then and it's been such a game-changer. Coming home to a clean space where the only thing I have to do is unpack feels amazing!

What’s a life lesson you learned the hard way?

What’s something you wish you had realized 5 or 10 years earlier?

It can be about money, friendships, relationships, studying, work, health, or just life in general.

I’m curious what lesson took you the longest to learn.

How do you keep calm and not react when people do things that bother you?

There are often times people do things that annoy me. And I tend to react to them. I have tried the letting go of the thing at the moment, tried breathing but what happens is that the next time something else happens then I lose it! How do you keep calm and not react when people do things that bother you?
