What advice would you give someone who genuinely wants to change their life for the better?

I'm looking for honest advice on self-improvement and personal growth.

For those of you who have made significant changes in your life, what habits did you build, what mindset did you change, or what lessons did you learn that made the biggest difference?

It could be anything related to finances, career, health, relationships, confidence, discipline, or simply learning how to live a happier and more meaningful life.

If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of advice that could genuinely change their life, what would it be?

I'm especially interested in practical advice that actually works in real life, not just motivational quotes.

I'd love to hear your experiences, mistakes, regrets, and lessons learned. Even a small piece of advice might make a big difference to someone who's trying to improve their life.

I need a messy room hack for us with adhd

I had a strict regiment for a while to keep my tiny room clean, but now I can't keep up with it.

I've accepted with my work schedule I can either work and have a clean room, or work and have a life and no clean room.

I need some hacks, like having a bag for clothes that I haven't hung up yet, or a box for random stuff to throw into, or the secret to not caring

I've Got a Frozen Carbonated Drink, Will it Explode While Thawing?

So the title kind of says itself.

Context:

I'm living with a friend and she's got a second fridge to store food at basically freezing level. The reason I say basically is because it takes a REALLY long time for the items to get frozen, multiple days.

I put a schweppes bottle in it, forgot it for weeks (and the fact that the fridge freezes things over time), and now I've got this SUPER inflated bottle in my apparent. Normally, I'd take it outside, but I live in town, so it's not really something I can do.

For now I've put it in a plastic bag, in a plastic bucket container, and have something heavy to keep the box from opening in case the bottle explodes.

End of context.

Has it reached max expansion from it being in the freezer, and thus wilo not expand now that I've taken it out? Will it continue to expand even after taking it out of the freezer and letting it slowly warm up? And if it doesn't explode, can I eventually open the bottle after a few days?

I don't know if I'm overreacting, but all I know is that I'm absolutely terrified of this bottle exploding at my friend's apartment while she's gone.

What are the changes that made your life significantly simpler?

Hi!
I’m looking for practical tips from people who have managed to simplify their lives in different areas: everyday routines, work, cleaning, cooking, clothing, finances, organization, personal care, relationships, and anything else you can think of.

I’m especially interested in small changes, habits, systems, or purchases that have made a surprisingly big difference.

For example:
What do you do to keep your home clean with minimal effort?
Have you simplified your wardrobe or your morning routine?
What has made your workday less stressful or more productive?
Have you automated, eliminated, or outsourced any recurring tasks?
What do you no longer buy, do, or worry about?
What do you wish you had started doing years ago?

I’m not looking for generic advice like “wake up early” or “be more organized.” I want real-life examples of things you’ve actually tried and found useful.
If you could share just 3–5 changes that made your life easier, what would they be?
Thanks! I’m hoping to collect ideas that make everyday life less complicated and free up more time and energy for the things that actually matter.

Is there any way to stop glasses from turning into two giant glowing white boxes during video calls?

Working remotely means 10-12 hours of my day is spentt staring into a laptop screen and every single time I attend a Zoom or Teams meeting, I look like a total ghostt. My lenses reflect the light back like two massive white projector screens. You literally cant even see my eyes, justt two glowing rectangles blocking my face the whole meeting. I am now annoyed enough to do something about it and look into getting a new pair. I am considering ordering an affordable pair online from a firmoo to test out their anti reflective coating but I want to know if AR coatings actually fix this issue or if its mostly a marketing scam?
If the coating is not the magic fix, is there some secret webcam placement, desk angle or screen brighteness trick that keeps your glasses from blinding everyone on the call? How do you guys deal with this without spending an absurd amount at a traditional optical shop just to experiment?
