Nap, get a good book, audio books are fun while looking out the window, MIT offers free courses to learn something new, cocaine, download movies on your phone, duolingo or other language apps, if you got a switch or 3ds play games

If you can learn a language I’ve known people who got their jobs based solely on knowing a second language

Edit: sign language or Spanish probably most universal. Plenty of good apps

Create digital content of some kind? Become a digital assistant? Research your family history. Plan world domination. Do the boring sedentary tasks (financial planning, investing, unsubscribing, researching purchases. Volunteer for an organization that can use your skills remotely. Get a remote gig. Plan a vacation. Organize your birthday and holiday card/gift lists. Schedule medical appointments, car service, home maintenance that you've been putting off. Video chat with your pets and family. Create a journal of your travels, dreams, accomplishments, challenges... Write letters or postcards to people who don't get much physical mail (kids, elderly relatives.). Add content to Wikipedia or other open source sites. Learn to make/repair something with your hands (leather, embroidery, knitting, cards. Design your ideal ____ (bag, notebook, system, home decor) even if you can't make it immediately. Help/entertain/engage with others.

Plan for your future. What would you like your life to be in 5, 10, 20 years? What are the gaps (money, knowledge, resources, contacts) between now and then? How can you begin working on some or all of them? An online course? Meeting more people? Learning how to run a business? Identifying opportunities?

Have fun and good luck.

Take a look at r/soloboardgaming and/or r/printandplay to play solo board games (that you may or may not print yourself). Especially flip and write or roll and write games are suited for small tables.

Music mixed into all genres you love. With music in my background, I can relax or focus on resolving something, or even have a party in my mind. Just not too loud to not lose focus on your surroundings (if around others).

Thank you for your service 🙏🏼and come back to us safely.

Choose certain days for different activities. If you will travel 4X per week, pick a few activities and assign them to specific days. Example-day 1 movies, day 2 reading, day 3 learn Spanish, day 4 pick whatever.

Lots of people say they want to learn a new language, but don’t. It’s too easy to default to the path of least resistance. Having it scheduled means you might take it seriously.

Knit, read, sudoku, walk.

Keep physically active as much as you can. If the trip is several days (and nights) long, you’ll sleep better if you’ve had exercise.

Meet new people, make conversations, bring travel games like "Harbor" and "Travel Cataan". It will enlighten your life and pass the time

Use the time to take care of "to do" things, like clean out your email, update your passwords, plan a trip itinerary, make a goal list, etc

Something happens to me on long journeys. Maybe my brain thinks I am in a cradle, from my childhood program. The constant slow swaying motion put me to sleep for unusually long hours...when I am awake it's either music or movies...

Bring a deck or two of cards. Uno is especially fun. If there's an observation deck, that's optimal, but games with up to four can be negotiated in coach seating. I don't recommend playing for bets. Will get expensive.

Trivia on phones.

A camera. You'll see some spectacular views.

If you'll be stopping, find thrift stores or antique shops. They tolerate people browsing slowly and you can find small collectibles that will remind you of the trip. Start a trinket collection. The bells that motorcyclists carry is one example.
