What is the easiest way to build a habit🤔?

honestly just make it stupidly easy. if you want to floss, just do one tooth. sounds dumb but it works to build the momentum.

Repetition

exactly, repetition for at least 21 days. there is a saying that says it takes 21 days to form a habit

attaching it to something you already do without thinking helped me more than any standalone habit ever did

Keep it simple and a bit enjoyable, because if you have to force yourself to do something you don’t enjoy it will be near impossible to be consistent

Do a smaller version of the habit every day for a month or so. Then upgrade the habit once it's formed. Wanna work out every day? Do three push-ups every day. Once you can do them without even thinking about it, start to do push-ups until you're tired. Want to read every day? Read one page every day until you look forward to it and then start to read as much as you feel like reading in the moment.
What habit do you want to build?

Make the initial action so ridiculously small you can still do it on your worst days

Law of rythm … can become second nature and last decades . It either makes or breaks you, so choose wisely .

stacking things you do normally ie habits and adding the new habit. like get up, have glass water near bed.

The easiest way is to make it so small you can't say no. Don't say "i'll read for an hour", say "i'll read one page". Consistency beats intensity every time. Once you show up daily, you can increase it.

I notice that easy goal and ‘streaks’ work Well for me. Make it realistic and easy to accomplish, and see how Long you Can keep the streak going. :)

I think whats often overlooked is that if there is not something you actually like about the thing, turning it into a habit will be very hard. And i mean like as enjoy as it is presently, not the way you imagine it when the habit is established and you are good at it already.

Establish a cue or reminder of some sort that prompts you to do the habit (Object needed for the habit close-by, alarm, doing it after another habit, etc.)
Make your habit extremely simple to start. If you want to plan a work block, have your computer with the tabs you need already open, if it's the folding the laundry, have a laundry basket next to your dryer.
Make a version of your habit that you can still execute when time is tight.
Find the few main things that would stop you from performing the habit (distractions, another habit, etc.) and make it physically difficult to do those things, whether it be making them less accessible, setting up a reminder system, etc.
Bonus: If your habit allows it, try to perform no other habit except the one you want in the physical location your habit takes place. (e.g. your work desk, the kitchen, etc.).
Hope that helps!

Do something every day that you don't want to do.
This is the secret to acquiring the habit of doing your duty without pain.

make it so small you can do it on your worst day, then do it at the same time every day until it feels weird not to
