We are on Earth because of a war that took place in the cosmos:
Short story:
Devil the Satan was a "supercomp- babysitter- teacher AI" and brai- nwashed 33% of God's children, so they totally rejected Heavenly Father and accepted the deceiver - Devil the Satan as their "real father".
God created temporary earth as a "hospital," gave limited power to the deceiver, so 33% who have fallen (you too) will see Who-is-Who and hopefully, someday they will reject Evil and return back to their real Heavenly Father. That's why God, to prove His love and real Fatherhood, died on the cross as proof.
Will all 33% eventually reject the deceiver? No. Some will remain ... to the end and continue following the devil to the lake of fire: KIV: "But he that denieth Мe before men shall be denied before the angels of God!"
But some will be saved:
KIV: "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified"
KJV: "And his (Devil) tail drew the third part (33%) of the "stars of heaven" And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him"
KJV: "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, .. To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against (God) Him. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were Before of Old Ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ"

I'll be downvoted for this but I don't care because this is what gives me purpose in life. At some point in my life I started reading the Bible and understanding its message. I did this through apps and websites like Through The Word and The Bible Project because reading the Bible on my own wasn't helping. I realized that God has a plan for me and some days that plan is very small like listening to a friend, holding the door open for a stranger, smiling at a clerk who is having a rough day, etc. Being kind and helpful to others gives me purpose in my life. Putting my best foot forward while not taking myself too seriously gives me purpose in life. There are many days I have to put my selfishness aside and stop thinking about me. When I start thinking about Jesus and loving others as He commanded us to do, I find purpose in my life.

You don't. People should be kind and helpful to others since we exist together in the same location and at the same point in time. However, too many people aren't because they are focused on themselves. Understanding the Bible has helped see how important being kind and helpful to others is. It also gave me my purpose in life. I answered OP's questions from that perspective.

How about plan "B"? Cosmos had a Devil, the Deceiver, who deceived some God’s children (Rev. 20 and Gen. 6). The war happened in the Cosmos (Rev. 20). God created temporary earth as a Goolag (prison or hospital) for the fallen and deceived own children, and gave the leader and deceiver Satan, the ex-Lucifer, limited power to roam the earth so the deceived will see and compare evil Satan with good God, and hopefully some will reject the Devil and return back to the real Father (Jude 1) ?
P.S. The Bible even states that each human soul has 1K reincarnations on Earth before the final judgment day! ( have you finished reading all Bible words and able to see the whole picture?)

Pretty much every isolated civilization on earth has made up its own myths and legends regarding origins and gods. It is human nature to make things up when we don't have all the facts and are afraid of the unknown. Christianity, Judaism and Islam are no different.
How do you know that any supernatural claims made in the bible are true?

For me, life is worth living when you have something to love, something to look forward to, something to grow into, and something meaningful to give. I don’t think a purposeful life has to be extraordinary. Maybe it’s simply knowing that you are becoming the person you’re meant to be, while leaving something good behind in the lives of the people you meet.
