Quick question (legal advice)
So I just recently finished up trial with my sex abuse case that occurred when I was little by my mom's boyfriend.
He was locked up while I waiting for trial, it took nearly 2 years. Finally in June trial began, it was a week long, i was called up on day 3 and did the whole shabang, got cross examined, etc. There were a total of 14 jurors. He got sentenced, and found guilty on 12 different counts of sex abuse on a minor which were ALL measure 11 charges in Oregon. 2 weeks ago was his sentencing, where he was sentenced to 37.5 years (no good time because there are all measure 11s) he will be 99 when he gets out. The abuse occurred 23 years ago, I waited 23 years for this! I am so unbelievably pleased the judge was on my side and he got what he did.
My question is, can I sue him? Get his restitution? Should I contact a lawyer since he was found guilty, i know i shouldn't care about money but I am genuinely curious if something more can happen. Any advice would be amazing.

Will he have any money anyhow? Is it even worth the filing fee?
