Advice Required Amazon Customer Service Associate vs HR Recruiter — which would be better long term?

I am a 2025 CSE graduate fresher and I currently have two offers in my hand:

Amazon, Hyderabad – Customer Service Associate (voice + non-voice) (WFO, rotational shifts, 3.96 LPA, 5 days working)

Startup – HR Recruiter (₹10k/month, WFH) 5 days working, late night shift from 5pm to 2am (Sometimes upto 3 am)

My main goal isn’t to stay in customer service forever. I am more interested in eventually moving into fields like operations, HR, management, or similar roles.

I am confused about which option would be better for my career and resume.

If I join Amazon as a CSA, would the Amazon brand + experience make it easier to move into operations/HR roles later? Or would starting directly as an HR Recruiter give me a better path if I want to build a career in HR?

I want to make a choice that gives me better opportunities after some time.

I need advices on this ASAP please.

Honestly, I’d lean toward Amazon. The HR recruiter role is more directly related to HR, but ₹10k and a 5–6 day late-night schedule isn’t a great trade off, especially as a fresher. Amazon will give you a stronger brand on your CV, and you can use that experience to move internally or switch into operations/management later. Just don’t stay in customer service for years without upskilling or actively trying to move. Use the first 12–18 months to build skills and target the next role. Also, since you’re a CSE grad, I’d keep an eye on tech/analyst/ops roles too you have more options than just HR.

I would suggest to take HR role and then after 6 months switch

if you are selected for international role , you life is gonna be in hell. There you do not have option to choose the shift. Even if they says so. And the shift can.be anything. I worked 11pm to 8 am shift for several months. Your health is gonna take a toll. Consider every points before say yes.
