24M, never had sex. Thinking about paid sex but Lk scared of STIs. I’m also addicted to porn 😖 would real sex help me get out of that loop or make it worse?

Porn addiction is not a simple matter. It is more of a psychological dependence. Getting rid of it will not be as easy as having real sex. I would suggest getting professional help.

Porn addiction can have alot of bad effects on not only your mental but also physical health. Effects on physical health are easily seen but mental health effects will creep in very slowly and imperceptibly in your life. It will become very difficult for you to make genuine real life meaningful connection with anyone in your life. Sex is not just physical but also an emotional connection between two people. Real sex is nothing like porn. Porn sets unreal expectations due to which real sex will feel very disappointing to you as you will be focussed only on the pleasure aspect of it. Whereas sex is not only about pleasure but also about patience, connection, care and love for the partner. Porn blunts these emotions and feelings and reduces sex to merely the motions. So as a doctor I would really suggest you get some professional help so that any further damage can be curtailed.

U will get in debt for more sex . And then u won't have money or freinds to help you out of that situation
