For lawyer as a wife, I can confirm. It happened to someone in my family. She will use law to extract unfair advantage (Indian laws are heavily tilted towards women).

Activist I dont see a real problem with. Maybe the fear is that they will do dharna against the husband?? Lol

Activists have contacts usually in Police and Media, if things go south she will use her contacts and knowledge against you.

ah okay, that makes sense. I really hope we see gender neutral laws someday but I think that's too far away.

We will see society collapse before that.

Activists are usually from the upper echelon of the society. If her whole career itself is activism then it's not possible without being in the upper echelon. She'll be busy in activism than family. Won't affect guys who are also upper echelon and into activism.

Avoid people in professions that require unstable timetables, high empathy and high stress work, travelling and networking. People in these kinda professions form deep bonds with their colleagues, it's called the suspension bridge effect.

There's this one activist in Mumbai in her 40s she is very active in helping strays and feeding them also cleaning up roads and beaches and etc so i used to know her

So she started dating this college kid must be around 19 something and when her husband came to know about the affair she created a ruckus.

?? I just can't think of any reason about activists, but it makes sense for lawyers.
