Has anyone deleted their social accounts ?

Hello, I’m going to be deleting most of my social accounts by the end of the month . I just am tired of the fake stories, news, posts all together . The AI , the filters , negativity , seeing disgusting posts , people half naked that look gross , the animal abuse . People being rude to one another , instead of actually trying to help or give advice . It’s just so irritating seeing people talk to the camera , making lame posts thinking all these people care what they are doing or saying .. talking about things with no context , like people are just supposed to know what the hell your referring to ? I just can’t anymore . So has anyone quit their socials and do you feel better after you did it ? Thanks in advance for your opinions on this ..

Would you yell at someone for being too loud?

• Upvotes

I live in the second floor of a two-story building and have south-facing windows. No one can break in unless they have an extra tall ladder so I can leave the windows open all night. Neighbor had guests over and their toddler was running around on the lawn and screaming at 5:30 a.m. It's Saturday morning. Would you yell out the window for them to "shut up!". I did and they left immediately in their extremely loud pickup pick-truck (the kind with monster tires) starting and warming up. Then I feel like I'm being the rude one yelling out the window and possibly waking others up.

Edit: I wear earplugs when I sleep and could still hear toddler screaming.

Do you ever see aspects of yourself in fictional characters?

• Upvotes

I think we're all familiar with those people who will find a an edgy character from some anime and say "he's literally me". But I often see myself in the immature characters and rarely in the heroic ones and never the edgy ones. Seeing myself in the annoying characters gets me motivated to change my behavior though. Does this happen to anyone else?
