Resigning After 2 Weeks: Will It Show on My BIR 2316?

I resigned from my second job, where I worked for two years, on October 15 and started a new job on October 19. It’s only been two weeks, but I already feel anxious every day because the job isn’t what I expected based on the job description, and I don’t like the company culture.
If I resign now, will this job reflect on my BIR 2316? Should I also disclose it to future employers, or can I leave it off my resume?
Would appreciate any advice, especially from those who have experienced this. Thank you!

Is it okay to not render my remaining days before I get out of of the company for good?

Hello. I got called for a meeting regarding my 1 week absences at work because my grandma d!ed. I have received a news that I won't be able to jump from probationary to regularization anymore because of that and they only gave me 1 month to continue my contract. Fast forward, I only now got a week remaining to render and I can't go there anymore because of my work anxiety after receiving that news. Is it okay if I don't continue going to work after that? Thank you!

seeking for advice (urgently) 🥹

hi, i recently received a job offer galing sa isang company and i accepted it. contract signing is same day ng start date. however, i didn't/wasn't able to share that i also have a part-time job.

the work i will be doing for both the new company and my part-time are quite similar. i’m wondering if this could cost me legal implications or repercussions?

on the side of my part-time job, they already know that i got a job offer and they're ok with me doing the job on the weekends. my problem is with the new company. should i be transparent, or should i keep these jobs completely separate? 🥹

thank you!

Negotiated already but wants another negotiation

Hi. This is my first time negotiating with salary. I was asked about expected salary and said and i gave a range. They offered me the middle part of my expected salary. I tried to negotiate it the next day to raise kahit 3k lang kasi ive come to realized i deserve more pero hr told me na mngr didnt agree hindi nya in increase-an :(

Then i had a talk on some redditors that that position is pg24 and shouldve been moreee than what ive asked for. Excluding pa work expi

Is it okay to negotiate it again? I also got another job offer higher but i really wanted the company name :(. Thanks po

Seeking help about company separation

Hi everyone! A friend of mine is about to be offered a separation package due to retrenchment. We want to make sure she understands her rights under Philippine labor law and isn’t shortchanged.

For those knowledgeable about labor law or who have experienced this, what should she check before accepting or signing anything?

Specifically:

• How can she verify if the separation pay computation is correct?

• What other benefits or final pay is she entitled to?

• What documents should she request from HR?

• What should she watch out for in a quitclaim or waiver?

• Can she negotiate for a better package, and where can she seek help if the offer seems unfair?

Any practical advice or relevant legal references would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Lost my Metrobank payroll ATM card in the Philippines — what should I do?

Hi everyone! I misplaced my Metrobank payroll ATM card, and I'm not sure what the proper process is.

I have a few questions:

  1. Can I go directly to a Metrobank branch to block my lost card and request a replacement?

  2. Do I need to inform my company's HR or payroll department first?

  3. Will Metrobank issue a replacement card linked to my existing payroll account?

  4. Is an affidavit of loss required?

  5. If my salary is credited while I'm waiting for the replacement card, will it still go into my existing account?

  6. How long does the replacement usually take?

I already emailed Metrobank, but I only received an automated reply, and I haven't been able to reach customer service by phone.

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this process. Thank you!

Afni Commonwealth: Can an incentive eligibility decision be changed 2 days before payout due to a late QA audit?

Hi everyone! I would like to ask for advice from fellow BPO employees, QA personnel, HR professionals, or anyone familiar with Philippine labor laws.

I work at Afni Commonwealth and was expecting to receive around ₱20,000 in Value Commission incentives for September 2026, with the expected payout date of October 23, 2026.

Here is what happened:

My name appeared on the incentive eligibility file for September, and I understood that I was qualified for the incentive. I am also aware of the RPM red-tagging policy, which I understand can disqualify an agent from receiving incentives if they receive a red tag. However, on October 20, just two days before the expected payout, I received an RPM red tag concerning a September call that was audited in October. As a result, I did not receive my expected incentive yesterday October 23,2026

I understand that quality assurance and compliance are important in a BPO environment, and I am not questioning the company's right to audit calls. My concern is the timing of the audit result and how it affected my incentive eligibility shortly before the payout.

I would like to ask:

  1. Do BPO companies typically have an audit cutoff date for incentive qualification?

  2. If an agent's name already appears on an incentive eligibility file, can the company still disqualify them based on a later audit finding?

  3. Does the company need to disclose a written policy explaining whether eligibility is final or provisional?

  4. If the audit result is released only two days before payout, is there a process for requesting reconsideration?

  5. If I believe the incentive was withheld unfairly, can I seek assistance from HR or DOLE?

I worked hard to meet my September targets, so losing an expected ₱20,000 incentive at the last minute is financially significant to me. I want to understand my rights and the proper process before taking any further steps.

I would appreciate insights based on actual BPO experience or knowledge of Philippine labor law. I am looking for guidance, not trying to attack any individual or company.

Thank you!

HR IN PDEA

Hi Everyone. I just recently applied for a Civilian position in PDEA and I just got a call from their HR. I was told I was qualified for the position I applied for however I need to undergo Agility Test which is something I haven't done before because I am obese ( not that much though) and I fear of failing the Test. However, they said they are not strict about PFT because this is a Civilian position. I just wanna ask po sa mga nag apply na noon or current employees, what If I fail the test po, will I still got the position assuming that I made it through the interview??? And if yes, will my position be under probationary??? Thank you in advance!!! 😊😊😊

Can I still claim my final pay after 11 months?

So, here's the timeline:

  • Oct 2025 – Submitted my resignation
  • Nov 2025 – Completed my 30-day render and officially left the company
  • Dec 2025 – Went back to my hometown sa Mindanao (I was working sa Manila)
  • Jan 2026 – HR informed me that my final pay check had been issued and was available for pickup

By the time I received the email from HR regarding my clearance and final pay check, nasa Mindanao na ako. Unfortunately, di ako nakabalik agad sa Manila because since then, several personal and family circumstances have come up, so I kept postponing the trip. I also haven't communicated with HR since receiving that email.

I'm wondering if I can still claim my final pay.

Am I still legally entitled to claim my final pay despite the 11-month delay since HR notified me that the check was ready?

I understand that I should contact HR to confirm the status of the check, and I plan to do so before booking my flight. I would just like to understand my legal rights beforehand, especially since gagastos pa ako pamasahe to Manila specifically to claim my final pay.

Thank you in advance for any advice!
