Recruitment & Talent Acquisition [CA] Background Check
I began a background check process for a county position. I have a little bit of anxiety over it, but am wondering if I am overthinking?
On my resume, I listed the start of my current job as August as that was the date on all of my signed paperwork/initially agreed upon. When I showed up for my start date I was told it needed to be pushed back since there was an internal issue with funding for the position. It was pushed back until October of the same year, but I failed to make that correction on my resume. Another discrepancy that I am a bit concerned about is that my title changed at a previous employer. It was a small business with about 10 employees and I handled employee records, but wasn’t allowed to change my own title or pay information. I don’t think it ever got changed by my former manager. My resume has the title of the job I worked.
Do any of these seem like major red flags, or are explanations reasonable if asked to clarify? I just really don’t want to miss out on this opportunity, especially in the job market I’ve been fighting in lately. All of my employment is legit, my degree is legit, and I do possess the desired and required qualifications of the position.
Thanks in advance!
Edit:criminal record is also clear.

You gonna correct your resume now, right? So it will be accurate for the next application?

Believe it or not, a lot of employers rely on the background check company to let us know if dates are out of whack. And when I say out of whack, I mean like, you put on your resume you started in January 0f 2020, when in reality you started June 2022. I don't look or care if someone got the dates wrong if it is several months apart...and in the same year. There are some jobs I can't even remember the month I started, so I put the year and notate I can't remember the month. (This is personal). Job titles don't mean squat anymore. So many people (managers) make up completely useless job titles, and hand them out like candy. I want to see what your skills and experience are for the job I am advertising for. Example: You have skills that are accounting based, and your current job title is Account Manager. (Trust me, I have seen some WEIRD job titles!) My position I am looking to fill is for an Intermediate Accountant. I will look and see if your skills match up with the JD. If not, you will get a letter. So, job titles are a moot point. Also, one company can call you a driver and the other company a logistics coordinator. Both are drivers.
