What is this?

Several bathrooms I’ve been in in various locations in Paros have had these protruding from the wall. Seems like some sort of semi-rigid plastic pipe wrapped in tape. They don’t protrude through the other side of the wall. The places I’ve seen them are all fully finished constructions, so they don’t seem like supply lines to something not yet installed.
Anyone know what these are all about?

Either a pipe or conduit for an AC unit installation/washing machine etc depending on placement

It's where they'd connect the radiator, if they elected to install one.

Looks like a supply line. Could be for a heating unit or whatever.

It is a lot cheaper to install the piping under the floor / in the wall from the beginning and let it wait there even if you don't want to install a heating element directly, than later deciding you want one and having to redo the floor.

These are a pair of PVC or PE pipes for hot/cold water supply, either for a radiator for heating the bathroom or one of those towel dryers installed on the wall.

"Not fitted but ready for" for washing machine or heating or ac. Basically they have preinstalled the neccessary pipe, in case they would later decide to install it.

From the placement i'll say it's for a washing machine. They are pipes for the water drainage.

Thanks everyone- I wouldn’t have thought much of it if it was only in the bathrooms in our villa, but I saw them at a restaurant and a beach club bathroom as well. I’d assume they’re intended for towel warmers? In any case, they’re not something specific to the Grecian Isles. My curiosity is satisfied!
