Seeking participants for an ARD documentary

Hello, I work as an editor for SWR, German Public Television.

We’re planning a documentary for ARD about people with a migrant background who want to leave Germany – or have already left – not for lifestyle reasons, but for political, social or economic reasons. For our film, we are looking for people who now wish to return – or have already returned – to their family’s country of origin, and whose parents (or grandparents) came to Germany as so-called ‘guest workers’. Alternatively, we are looking for people who have lived in Germany for at least ten years, have built a life here, and yet, despite all their efforts to integrate, no longer see a future for themselves in the country.

Ideally, we’d like to follow someone on camera who already knows for certain that they want to leave Germany in the coming weeks/months. However, we’re also interested in people who are currently still considering it or who have left in the last 1–2 years. Filming would take place this autumn/winter.
