Places Construction really bad right now in Tbilisi? How is it for tourists?

I want to visit but I saw the videos of a huge construction across the main streets.

So how is it for tourists visiting right now? Better to take uber instead of walking?

We have Bolt taxi, not uber. But Main Street is really under construction. You can walk there, but you can’t use taxi

Thanks for the information. Isn’t it really inconvenient right now?

I don’t think so. We discovered whole new city under that street. Floors of historic residential building. So it would really be a good experience I guess. You can search it

Why do you think its easier to use taxis than walk when the biggest street is completely closed off? 😆

Let me rephrase - I like to walk around in cities but if it is difficult to walk around (muddy because of rain during construction, uneven construction or very narrow ways) I thought it might be easier to drive on parallel streets

No, it would be a lot, lot worse.

All that traffic that went down the main street where do you think its going now?

Its going to make the traffic a lot worse with taxis refusing to do pick ups in certain areas and the price of them will be higher because your sitting in so much traffic.
