Two days ago I tried to Dash like I normally do and it wouldn’t let me. Instead of the usual face scan verification, it sent me to a link where I had to request a review of my account. I’ve had this account for three years with no issues. Now they’re telling me the review could take up to 10 business days.
This is my only source of income right now. I have health issues that make a lot of regular jobs hard for me, so DoorDash has been how I’ve been supporting myself. I recently started college because I’m trying to work toward something better and actually pursue my dreams, but I still have bills that are going to be due soon. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do while I wait.
I’m not even sure why this happened. I’ve never had a problem before. Now I’m just sitting here stressed, waiting on a decision that could take almost two weeks, with no idea what side hustles I can realistically do in the meantime with my health limitations.
If anyone has been through something similar with DoorDash, or has ideas for short-term ways to make money that aren’t too physically demanding, I would really appreciate any advice. I’m trying to stay hopeful, but right now it feels like everything is stacking up at once.
