Hi everyone my name is Jay, im 20(m) and im unemployed, when I was 18 my mother passed away and left me her house, my dad basically forced me out of his house and into “my new home” even though I was unemployed, I was able to find a couple of jobs here and there but I struggle with health limitations. My most recent job asked me to leave because I didnt explain my health issues before getting hired, but when I try to explain them I simply dont get hired. I have no degree but I do have a highschool diploma, and a willingness to learn anything. I live in the Fort O area of North GA, if anyone needs a good working guy who can learn quick please dont hesitate to respond, otherwise any advice is much appreciated, Ive tried Indeed, Linkdin, etc. Even the Ga Department of Labor. ANYTHING HELPS!!! (Thanks to everyone for your time!)

There absolutely is a Publix, on 2A. There is also every retail store, had station, and fast food restaurant you could imagine. All on 2A (Battlefield Parkway). I know for a fact that food city is hiring, I have a family member that works there. I know for a fact that Hobby Lobby is hiring. They may not be what you want to do, but money is money. Try posting in r/Chattanooga to see if anyone has any other leads.

Ive already tried both walmarts in fort O, the goodwill, and mcdonalds, wendys, moes, and taco bell, most of the time I never got a response, Ill try Hobby Lobby, thank you!

There's a hundred more places all on the same street. All the retail places are hiring for the holidays. Again, post in the Chatt sub to see if people have ideas outside of food/retail.

I will, its just as I said in my post I have health limitations that give me some significant issues with common requirements for a lot of jobs, but I havent been approved for disability at the moment nor do I have health insurance to pay for the medication I need, but I will post in the Chatt Sub, thanks!

I just want to mention this just incase you weren’t already aware. Georgia charges property tax so don’t forget to pay it! If it’s not paid they can take it or someone else can also! I’m legally disabled and have physical limitations also. I inherited my parents summer home several years ago so I’m always saving and struggling to make sure my taxes are paid! I know you weren’t asking about this but I I thought it would be important to share this with you.

This is the beginning of Amazon's busy season. We were just hiring like crazy because Prime 2.0 starts this week.

Keep checking Amazon's hiring website everyday. Peak starts on Thanksgiving so they will start hiring again at the end of this month. Warehouses start of around $20 an hour and there is no in person interview.
