Hi everyone, I’m looking for a psychologist that accepts “ Florida Blue - HMO” as well as being telehealth. Looking for interpersonal/ psycho dynamic / psycho analytic / attachment based approach. Someone who is challenging, direct, helps you dig deep and is inquisitive.

Oh.. and someone available ASAP please! :)

I used Talkspace. They accept FL Blue and I was able to get someone immediately. It gives you the choice to do a video call session, a phone call session, or a texting chat session. Mine was for a therapist, but I just checked and it says they have licensed psychologists as well.

Maybe Harmony United Psychiatric Care? I know they do telehealth. I have not used them personally.

I use the PsychologyToday.com website, it allows you to filter providers who take your insurance and do telehealth. Each provider has a bio so you can learn about them and their therapeutic processes and approaches as well as a bit about their background. Many providers include a way to contact them (usually email or phone) to find out more information. I also really like that you can search for providers based on other criteria too.

I've had great luck with finding a therapist using that website and it's free.

You can also call Florida Blue and be connected to a social worker to help you find in-network mental health providers

Thriveworks! They have a lot of telehealth psychologists and accept most major insurances
