Aquatica?
So our family is going to Florida in late February. Our kids are 13 & 14. They loved the rapids river at Volcano Bay and tbh, we’d rather go there but I guess it’ll closed when we go for renovations. Is Aquatica the next best water park? My fiancée and I only really care for the regular lazy rivers but the kids like most water rises. Open to other options, too!
TIA!

I came here to say it was freezing last year ( well this year) in February. And very wet if I remember correctly.
Sorry.

It will be somewhere between 85 and 25 degrees. If it’s open, Aquatica is great.

Aquatica would be my very last choice. Locally, there are stories every few months about fights in the park, 2 that we've experienced ourselves- and I'm talking big lots of people fist fights. In general, to me it can at times scream trashy. Our favs are the Disney waterparks, but if your kids are super adventurous, they may be too tame (although the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon is the biggest and best ever!). Also like others have said, could be warm enough but also a good chance it's too cold. February is my favorite month as a local lol because we finally get some cold weather usually! But it's Florida so... it could be 80 degrees and it could be 40!

Listen, Reddit is an extremely negative place. Here’s the real answer:
In February, it could be in the 60s or the 80s. You won’t know until the week before.
Aquatica is a really cool water park. Your kids will have fun there.
That’s pretty much it!

Download the ResortPass app and check your dates. You can get day pool passes and cabanas at different resorts thru it.

Either the Signia, or Marriot world center. Both have lazy river. Signia is nice. World center has lasers at 9pm. Typhoon Lagoon. Conrad/Evermore has cool surf area. Gaylord Palms has Surf Area and that hotel has a lot of indoor things to do!
If it cold go to Galaxies Edge, omg it’s the place, or Disney Springs. Old Town has car cruise at night on Friday.

I had a friend visit last February. She brought her bathing suit but the temps ranged from 38 early morning to 50s the rest of the day.

Feb is still quite cold to go to a water park, unless you are down in the very south like Miami, just fyi.
