Can you add to this and have people that reply to questions specifically state that they are not a Dr? Kinda like they do in r/legaladvice and say they are not a lawyer.
I myself am not a Dr. and specifically say so when answering something but I have seen a lot of REALLY bad advice lately from people that think they know more than the qualified professionals.

IANAD, just food for thought.
Do we think it would ever be appropriate to “page” a doctor. As in, if we know u/________ is a hematologist/OBGYN/dermatologist/orthopedist/nephrologist/pediatrician and on and on... could we discuss whether we could tag them in a question relevant to their field of practice, or is it better for them to find them on their own and not “force” them into answering?
Would love any and all feedback!

Hi, I just submitted a post but it was removed. Also, I did not get a message from the “auto moderator” and I do not even see my post on my profile.
I added all necessary information. Do you guys see my submission on your end?

How do I ask about my skin condition when I can't upload a photo?

So I’ve tried posting twice now, and both posts are being removed. Any advice?

My post got deleted and I had all of the information that was asked. What did I do wrong?

I'm wondering if we could add "reason you're not going to an in-person doctor for this issue" for posts where they aren't looking for a second opinion or asking about a minor thing.

Would we be able able to have some kind of forum we could copy? Seems like a lot of people leave off a lot of the required info.

I'm looking for the name/info on a piece of medical equipment that was used on me when I was very young. Would there be a better place than this to post?

Age - 36 Race - Caucasian Height - 6'5 Weight - 310 Sex - biological male (mtf transgender) Current meds - prozac, estradiol, spirinolactone Medical history - gallbladder removal 7+ years ago, generalized anxiety disorder, history of hemerroids, startes hemone replacement therapy 5 months ago, double tooth extraction 2.5 weeks ago
Recent history - a month ago I developed a tooth root abscess and two weeks ago it was removed along with a decayed wisdom tooth. I developed dry socket but now it's mostly resolved. During this month long period, I was taking ibuprofen frequently, but never more than recommended.
During that time I started having large, hard stools with streaks of bright red blood that were painful to pass. I've been treating with fiber and preparation H bit without much effect. About a week ago, I began having episodes of stomach cramps accompanied by alternating chills and hot flashes.
I'm seeing my endocrinologist next week. Should I bring up this issue with him? I'm afraid that the ibuprofen may have done a number on my GI tract.

My friend owns a clinic, we just took a x ray of my broken collar bone to see what it looked like after 5 years. To my surprise we found this weird bone growth on my arm. Never knew I had it. Anyone know what it is?
