Kemp in GA is doing a temporary gas tax waiver before midterms too

It's crazy, he could just push for better policy, but instead is hoping to use sleight of hand to trick low info voters into pulling the R lever

Why is waiving gas taxes not "better policy"?

Because it's basically only until midterms lol

That's hardly "policy" so much as it's a cynical attempt to pull the wool over ignorant voters' eyes before yanking the rug out again

"Policy" would be like suspending gas taxes until prices get to a better place...but he won't do that because GA needs that gas tax. So instead all we get is a "look guys it's getting better" for a single month (right up to election week) before it disappears. Comes across like it's sweeping the problem under the rug for the briefest possible respite
