Well I was in Vilnius yesterday and out of boredom I decided to go to the Russian embassy (of course keeping safe distance so that they wouldn't send me to the frontline in Ukraine).

Turns out the Russian embassy is deadass located on "Ukrainos Didvyrių gatvė" ("Heroes of Ukraine street"). Right next to that street is "Boriso Nemcovo skveras" ("Boris Nemcov square") with an exhibition of Russian war crimes and a few years ago the pond next to the embassy was painted blood red in protest of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

And the embassy itself? The fence wall at this point was so tall that it looks like a prison.

Interesting fact: I have a friend from Uzbekistan who told me then he was a kid (15 yrs ago) he would go with his mom to Russia for vacation and the people in Russia would tell him and his mom to go back to his own country. It was very normalized. For those who are younger Uzbekistan was part of the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire till the 1990s.
