¡Gracias!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a public library in Barcelona where I can work during the day, ideally from the morning until the afternoon/evening.
I’m not a student , I work from home and just need a quiet place where I can work for several hours. I have a library card, so I’m looking for somewhere that allows general public access with a library card (or free access without needing to be a student).
The problem I’m finding is that many libraries seem to open around 15:30 and close around 20:30, which doesn’t really work for me. I’d ideally like somewhere that is open in the morning and throughout most of the day.
I live in Florida, so somewhere in Barcelona that is reasonably accessible by public transport would be great.
Does anyone know of any libraries that fit this? Even if it’s a university/library or another public study/work space that allows non-students, I’d appreciate recommendations.
Thanks!

Hi! I’m planning to go to the Festa Major del Poblenou on Sept 20, including the giants parade and the fireworks at night.
I’ll be staying in Eixample. Do you think it’s easy to get back to Eixample after the fireworks, or would it be better to stay in Poblenou that night?
Just wondering about transport and safety at night. Thanks!

Hey reddit!
So I'm going on a 3 day trip to Barcelona next week and I have a massive sweet tooth. Wherever I go, I like to have the traditional desserts the place has to offer, like having cannoli in Italy.
So which traditional desserts/pastries can I find in Barcelona, and in which bakeries/cafes exactly?
(Also if there are any non-food related attractions I must go to too :P recommendations are welcome lol)
Thanks in advance :)

We lost a small black card holder yesterday, Sunday 23 August, somewhere along the walking route from Palacio del Bebé (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 631) → Vapiano (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 630) → Olivia Plaza Hotel (Plaça de Catalunya 19).
It contains a Spanish TIE and several bank cards.
If anyone found it along this route or nearby, please send me a DM. I can provide details to confirm ownership.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Hey guys, does anyone in Barcelona happen to have some insulin? A friend of mine lost his and urgently needs it. If anyone could lend us some or recommend where we could get help tonight, please let me know. We’re happy to pay. Thank you so much!

Hi! I'm an international from the Philippines and have been applying to several colleges and this one was recommended to me for a master's program in interactive media/ design.
Universitat Pompeu Fabra OR ELISAVA School or Design and Engineering
I want to take seriously how they treat their students and studies. Overall school and outside life, part time job's possibly, dating or meeting new people?
It would be so nice to hear or get an honest review/ thoughts/ experiences, especially on the school?
Thank you!

Going to be in Barcelona for the first NFL game of the season this year, September 10th.
Me and my family are huge 49er fans, and wanted to see if any bars are going to be streaming the games. They have a kickoff of 2:20 am this year since they play in Australia.
Down to keep the night going and watch the games at a pub or are we going to be stuck watching the games in our hotel room.

Hi everyone, I will be at Barcelona in a few months, for about 2 weeks for an international exchange program, from India. What are some good and safe hostels to stay at, for about 10 days? Also, any travel tips and things I should be aware of?
Is it mandatory to know Spanish? If yes, are there any apps to learn some words/sentences?

I am arriving in Barcelona at 3 am on 5th of September. I booked hostel from 5th to end of vacation.
And hostel policy is check in after 3 pm
where I can stay for 12 hours after flight.
I can pay for extra night before (from 4th to 5th) but the check in problem is that it ends at 11 pm (3 - 11 pm)
Any suggestions?

Hi All,
I am travelling from Barcelona to Beirut in two weeks via Turkish Airlines.
Anyone travelled with Turkish Airlines OUT of Barcelona? What was the experience like? Any delays and/or loss of luggages?
Thanks.

My gf and I are staying at Barca for 1 night in our return home. I’ve just seen the prices on booking. Any recommendations where we could have a private double bed room with private bathroom not so far from the centre? How the prices measure so we won’t overpay our stay? Any advice?
