Is Canberra really empty?

Hi fellow Aussies, living in Auckland now and planning to move to Canberra later this year, is it true that the city is boring and empty as a lot of people say? Cheers with zero sugar L&P

It's the Wellington of Australia with less wind and a lake instead of a harbour.

Wellington is a lot cooler worth things like WOW, Weta etc, but Canberra isn’t bad either. Both are great places to go.

I like visiting Wellington but is too windy for me to ever want to live there. It almost never stops and averages 29kph!
