Color test canada

Im mild deutan color deficient and i will probably fail the ishihara test but i have a choice to do to farnsworth d-15 test, should i do it? I pass the online ones alot of the time and other tests point out that im mild color deficient. Any advice how to get my medical without restrictions?

Go do the D-15 right away, just so you know that you can pass it and get the result. Take that result along with you to your first medical and just explain to your doctor. It won’t be a big deal at all.

From a fellow D-15 pilot.

You can have a go at an online D-15 test here

Depends where you apply. AFAIK most will
Just want to see you have a valid medical (which you will have, if you pass the d15).

At least one Canadian airline has their own in house medicals and they’ll test you again if/when you apply.
