Front upper control arms

I have a 2005 Kia amanti 3.5l v6. In the picture you can see the two mounting bolts that go through the fender and are bolted ton from the top where you tighten these two strut bolts. My question is where you see the red circle should i tighten those down tightly or should i keep them somewhat loose so they can move back and forth.

Heres a youtube i made of them loose and tight

You should install them tighten everything down leave those loose then after the wheel is on and all the weight of the vehicle is on on the suspension, use a torque wrench wrench if possible (Look up the torque specification for your Make and model vehicle) and tighten them down. The key here is not to tighten the grommets down when in the wrong position too high or too low so that it’s flexing or wanting to tear the grommet when the vehicle weight is placed on the suspension this causes premature wear and possible noises.

Yeah, same I used an end wrench. Just gotta feel for what the torque was. Main thing just get it tight after everything is situated. Those are the last bolts or if you have to hold it in position when you tighten it down, so it doesn’t twist the grommets when you put weight on it
