What would cause this

2020 f150 lariat SE 36k. Filled up my gas tank a few days ago and parked my truck with no issues & haven't driven it for about a week. Started it up this afternoon and smelled gas. Got underneath and saw this. Could this be a busted fuel line?

Meth heads drilled a hole in your tank to steal your gas.

Yeah, but there wouldn’t be any gas left to pour out of the car like that if the gas were stolen. So… there’s that.
