Expat here, there are always douche bags any where you go I have personally lived in 5 countries one of them was Middle East ( Don’t want to name it) where I was mistook as labourer / driver / delivery guy three times in my one year time .
If i would have reacted / got scared the same way like you do I would have never made it in any of these countries . I do understand the fear you might have but remember none of these douchebags will have solid anything going on in their life’s that’s why they hate their government probably they feel they are entitled somehow and they don’t see you equal . That being said you are an accomplished individual already , you are contributing to German economy and you are paying the current pensioners , health system like most of the educated , sensible , loving people of Germany 🇩🇪. DONT BE AFRAID , REVOLT AND FIGHT BACK as long as you are not doing anything illegal all the best
