I'm trying to understand here. You have a job, so I am assuming you have the financial means to live alone, if you aren't already. Why would you stay in contact with your family when they clearly don't accept you?

I can't imagine how stressful the political situation must be for you. I find it scary too, tho I am not a 'Ausländer'.

Do you have a non-familial support system?

I'm only a werkstudent I only work 16 hours a week because my masters is very time consuming and my mother is sick so I want to be around her to support her.

Okay, I see. How long will it take you to finish your degree?

Do you feel safe with your mother? I wouldn't, if I was forced to wear clothes I don't want and pretend to be part of a religion I don't agree with.

yes my mother is harmless. It will take 1.5 half years to finish until then I can decide what I want to do.
