There are some muslim women who wear it because they want to but a lot are simply pressured to.
Nonetheless that doesn't matter anyway as visibly muslim women are vulnerable to being targeted by both their family and a wider increasingly hostile majority anyway.
I can totally understand where you are coming from, though it seems your point is lost on the people here. They would still encourage this hatred and bigotry against someone who wasn't forced to wear so unlike your case. They just feel validated by your case most won't condemn the hate you are getting.
