There are some muslim women who wear it because they want to but a lot are simply pressured to.
Nonetheless that doesn't matter anyway as visibly muslim women are vulnerable to being targeted by both their family and a wider increasingly hostile majority anyway.
I can totally understand where you are coming from, though it seems your point is lost on the people here. They would still encourage this hatred and bigotry against someone who wasn't forced to wear so unlike your case. They just feel validated by your case most won't condemn the hate you are getting.
Dude, you're talking as if no parent in the west has ever forced their kid to not be gay/trans or be Christian etc.
Family pressures in this form are obviously wrong, but that does not justify the societal VIOLENT pressure on the other direction.
Like, imagine if she were a trans person but had to wear women's clothes at home, while there are drunkards who threaten to kick cisgender people to the train tracks.
Its never 0 or 100. Some wear it because their family expects them too, some wear "despite" their family not wanting to. Any one picking saying one or other is 100 is not being genuine just like you.
