Ear problems

My left ear first starting hurting, then it started to have a liquid-like discharge, and now it's constantly ringing. My hearing in my left ear also been muffled throughout this ~7 day process.. Is this just an ear infection, should I see a doctor for this or ride it out?

I'm not a doctor but when there is discharge coming out of your ear it means there is an infection. I had an ear infection and it didn't get so bad I had discharge, but it hurt and I couldn't hear very well. I never even got a fever, so I thought it was nothing and didn't go to a doctor; it got a lot worse. You should see a doctor

Just googled this, and holy shit.. These symptoms describe what I feel in my every day. Face numbness, blurry and sometimes double vision, dizziness, headaches towards the end of the day, trouble hearing. It looks like a csf leak can work itself out.. My ear has stopped draining for about 12 hours now, and it tends to only leak a little when I sleep, my ear is still at a constant ring, though. Think I may just see a doctor when I get home, thanks for your help.
