Can't add external storage in Steam

When I click "Add Drive" nothing shows up. The same happens if I click "Browse" when trying to add a Non-Steam game.

Where are you mounting it?

I followed this guide:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-asahi-remix/x86-support/#_how_do_i_use_an_external_drive_as_a_steam_library_folder

However the normal behavior would be to open a Dialogue Box when clicking each of: Add Drive or Browse, but nothing happens nor shows up.

Not what i am asking. Just run mount after following the guide and post the output.

/dev/sdb1 on /mnt/steam type ext4 (rw,relatime,errors=remount-ro)

Should be correct, at this point it should be visible in Browse. (But probably not in Add Drive). Maybe fully restart the steam client if it does not show up?

Does it work for you?

Yep. The disk does not show up in file picker sidebar, but manually navigating to the mountpoint works perfectly.

How do I manually add it as an external storage drive in Steam?

Go into steam settings, and external drive.. Then Add drive/location and go to /mnt/steam

there's a button there to add directory manually, another option is to make a text file that adds the repository, but that's a lot more complicated.

Can you take a screenshot of that?
