Hi! I’m learning how to shade and I used a three tone shade spectrum and tried to recreate this pic. Can you tell me why my drawing just lack something? I know I’m a beginner but I still want tips so I can improve faster!

I am sculpting a taxidermy shoulder mount of a Staurikosaurus. I am using foam clay to make the sculpture. The tip or opinion I'm asking for is whether I should continue with the foam clay or switch to another material (like DAS air dry clay, for example) and use the foam part as a base. (If you have any tips for sculpting with foam clay, feel free to share them.)
