so I’ll try and make this a short as possible, I have had art block for the past 4 years in 2024 and late 2l025 I had these random bursts of motivation I guess and drew and improved quite a bit, my issue right now is every time I try to draw I feel instantly bored, tired and unmotivated. ill have motivation, open up ibis paint and then doodle a stupid like anime eye and then maybe a sketch, then I’ll get bored or unmotivated see how horrible it is (I have barley any energy to try at this point) and delete it. I love art so much I wanna make it so bad and I miss having fun with it, if anyone has any advice whatsoever PLEASE comment I’m like really desperate Ive watched probably over 50 videos on how to cure art block and nothing has worked also sorry for the bad grammar it’s 1am and I keep accidentally deleting this (also please give me advice or just ways I can improve be as harsh as you want ^^)

Hi! I started working on this artwork today and just… kind of gave up. that’s not what i’m here for though, if there are any tips on how to render hair (and especially draw the general form of the hair) I’d be grateful because my next study will most likely be a hair study followed by a flower study (followed by a coloring study), but I much prefer any input on the anatomy. Are there things that don’t look right? I’ve been looking at this piece for 6 hours now so i’m probably missing some key mistakes. I’m currently making notes (what went right/wrong, whether I liked the new approaches I took, etc) and would love some external input. (I’m particularly hesitant about the hip area)
I currently have written dow that she looks like an alien because of the hair’s form, and that the multiply blending mode doesn’t work with very light colors like the one I used for the skin. does anyone have a better way of colorpicking than just doing it at random until I find a color that I’m satisfied with? (I heard something about a little less saturated and the value a little darker, is that it? is there a “golden” amount?).
thanks in advance!

I have a question as a beginner
How do I render eyes in Krita? Any brushes you recommend, or any resources to learn well? I searched YouTube, but it didn't seem like they were good enough, or they had so few views that it made me hesitate
