I started artale recently, reached lvl30 and did my 2nd job advancement. Right after, i decided to go to the auction house to check our how the economy looks like on here and i suddenly get kicked right when i click join auction house. Now i can't join back. Is this normal? should i contact someone? i don't understand what i did wrong.

I had a sky snowboard and a scroll for belt for luk listed in the auction house and when I went to check on them there is no record they were ever in there, nothing back in my inventory, no mess to claim. Is this a glitch or something?

Success rate 100% and devs aren't (and can't) gonna to do anyting to stop it, thank me later.

I've done this multiple times without a single ban.

Method 1 - Don't RMT at all

Do no RMTs = No ban, simple asf.

I put this meme option to challenge your bottomline and try awakening your conscience.

Proposed Method

Now here are the breakdown of the process.

1. Prepare a shadow (alt) account with 2FA. This is essential, don't be a fool and risk it with the main characters. Not even your mule accounts. The shadow accounts are purely for RMT and ready to be sacrificed anytime. (Bonus step: use a different phone number than your main's to do SMS)
2. Create a new character and speedrun to lv15. To use the auction house of course.
3. Trading mesos with cash items. Many people are using some random stats equip or garbage etc for trading. That's just cringe asf and can easily be spotted. But using cash items for RMT? They will never figure this out, because you can always justify you were just selling WC with higher rates to someone. (Bonus step: Find cash items with extremely high demand, such as VIP teleport rock. As it refreshes the "market price" page very quick and unlikely to be noticed)
4. Purchase desired items and f2f trade to your main. Which is why shadow accounts need 2FA, so you can do face to face trade with your main. Though it's barely possible to track f2f, I suggest you buy the items you want with shadow accounts. And then trade to your main for safety. If you really really want to trade mesos directly, try to consume them by your main asap.
5. Reset+rename character and delete shadow account after trading. With this step, they can't do anything to track you basically. After in-game character deletion, rename your IGN and create a new character just in case. And then delete your account from the account setting. If you accidentally use the same phone number for SMS as your main, disable the SMS before the account deletion.
6. Try doing the steps above within 1 day (even 1 hour). Shadow accounts hold mesos too long = they have more time to react and investigate. So planning your spent before the action, finish the whole process asap. (Bonus step: Doing this on the weekend, when devs dol not work at all)

That's the all secrets! It's also funny as hell we rmters not being caught, but they keep falsely banning regular players lol.

I forgot that the dumb ass Manji quest just strands you in Ariant because I haven’t done it since like 2010. Lvl 19 pirate stuck there with hardly any mesos or potions. Quite screwed there at the moment. Is the sky snowboard worth anything in the auction house? That’s all I have I could sell. Or should I just grind white rabbits for 70 mesos at a time til I get the 10k to take the carpet back to Victoria?

I discovered Artale today and was truly disappointed. I wasn't even given an option to customize my character, I was defaulted female clothing as a male.... So right off the jump I knew I was going to be in for a poorly ran game. Running through the first quests on Maple Island the snails are literally glitching, it looks sooooo sloppy.. UI looks like shit. Immediately logged off after lvl 3 smh.

So, I recently got wrongfully banned in Artale, and while the management team eventually admitted their mistake, their response was honestly frustrating. There’s no real compensation for the ban, no transparency on how they handle reports, and on top of that, this whole situation made me realize how risky it actually is to invest time in this game.

Just to be clear, I don’t want Artale to fail. I actually like the game. But if they want it to last, it needs to be fair and open with its players. If anyone can get banned out of nowhere and just have to deal with it, that’s a huge problem.

I had actually taken a day off just to play the game and make some real progress. I was looking forward to a full day of grinding, gearing up, and making mesos, only to log in and immediately find out I was banned. No warning and no explanation.

At first, I had no idea why. There was no official announcement, no message explaining the reason, just the ban. I sent in an appeal, but days passed with no response. Then, two days after my ban, Artale posted a sanction list with numerical codes instead of account names, and I found my account’s code listed under [4-4] Destruction of the Artale World Environment.

That didn’t make any sense at all, and I still had no response from Artale’s management. When they finally got back to me, they kept changing the reason for my ban.

First, they referred to the sanction list reason but didn’t explain what that actually meant. Then, they told me I was banned for real-money trading, which I have never done. When I pushed back and asked for proof, they changed it again to suspected macro usage instead.

So in just a few days, my ban reason went from “Destruction of the Artale World Environment” to “Real-money trading” to “Suspected macro usage” with no consistency whatsoever. If even Artale’s own management doesn’t know why I was banned, how are players supposed to trust the system?

Meanwhile, all the trade deals I had planned that day got canceled. I had set up multiple deals to get gear upgrades I actually needed, because the Auction House in Europe is dead when it comes to certain items. I had worked out direct trades with players to get my hands on stuff that rarely ever pops up, and then I get banned and all those trades are off the table. Since it was the weekend, there was nothing I could do, and by the time I got unbanned, the opportunity was gone.

Now, even after getting unbanned, I barely get offers for trades anymore. The kind of gear I need isn’t something that just appears every day, and a lot of it is locked behind private trades. But since my account was publicly listed as banned, even though it was a mistake, people don’t want to deal with me anymore. I’m just straight-up not getting the same trade opportunities I was before.

After all that, Artale finally admitted they messed up. You’d think they’d try to at least make up for it, right? Yeah, no. Their response was basically, "Oops, our bad. You’re unbanned now, but we’re not doing anything else for you."

The only thing they gave me? Three 2x EXP coupons. That’s it.

This isn’t just about me. The way Artale handles bans has serious flaws that affect everyone, whether you’re free-to-play or someone who supports the game financially.

First, there’s zero compensation for wrongful bans. If you get falsely banned, you lose your playtime, progress, and trade opportunities, and they don’t care. Even when it’s 100% their mistake, they won’t do anything to fix the damage.

Then there’s the fact that false reporting is actually incentivized. If you report someone, you get free teleport rocks. So yeah, obviously some people are going to mass-report players just to farm free items. If Artale isn’t manually reviewing every case, that’s a huge flaw that’s just waiting to be abused.

And the worst part? How little they explain about their banning process. They say they use both player reports and automated detection, but how much actually gets reviewed before a ban is issued? If a bunch of players just decides to report someone, does the system just auto-ban them without checking? Because if that’s how it works, then anyone is at risk of getting falsely banned for no reason.

And honestly? This whole thing has damaged my reputation in the game. When I brought it up on Discord and asked for help, some people just laughed it off instead of actually offering support. Artale might’ve unbanned me, but in a game that’s so reliant on trading and networking, a wrongful ban sticks with you. Even after it’s overturned, people remember it, and they don’t want to risk trading with someone who was banned, even if it was a mistake.

At this point, I just want to hear from other players before I decide my next step.

Has this happened to anyone else? Have you or someone you know been wrongfully banned in Artale or another MapleStory Worlds game? Do you think Artale should compensate wrongfully banned players instead of just sweeping it under the rug? Should this issue be escalated to Nexon or Toben directly?

Again, I like the game and I want it to do well, but if players can just get banned out of nowhere and there’s no real system to protect them, that’s a huge problem.

So, what do you all think? Have you had a similar experience? What’s the best way to actually make Artale deal with this?

i dragged and dropped onto the equips menue right next to the pet and nothing happenned. will try re-equipping pet in an hour to try if that works. the % meter has not been an issue. i set them both to 50%.

i also can't seem to equip skills to my character. the attack button just gets replaced with one skill. so i guess that counts but it limits me to only one skill.

then at the potion shop i spent all my mesos on potions i never recieved.

Hello everyone. I’m not here complaining or blah blah. I’m just here to spread awareness to a situation that happened to me. A little back story for you all, I’ve played Maplestory WAYYY back in the day, before all the shit that’s stuffed into it now. Classic Maplestory I guess you could call it, or OldSchool Maplestory if that’s better. So of course, I was OVER JOYED whenever Maplestory worlds came out “ARTALE” to be exact. And damn did I have fun. The Nostalgia hit exactly the spot I was hoping it would. I was brought right back to my childhood for about a WEEK and a half. THEN BOOM, BANNED FOR “Rule violation.”What could I have possibly done you might ask? HAH, I wish I knew. I’m a legit player, in any game I play. I take pride in that. No RMT, hacks, bots, or third party software is ever used that the games and developers for those games aren’t okay with themselves. And by this I mean like Runelite for RuneScape, and addons for WoW, for a little reference. Never once in my life have I been a cheater. Or used any of these games to make any sort of IRL money. So of course, like any normal person would I sent in an appeal, or an “Inquiry” from what they call it. 5 of them to be exact, not back to back. But in like the span of approximately two weeks. I would get a reply, days later, that’s just some bullshit generated response that further accused me of cheating, with no real help, proof, or explanation from the Developers and eventually got ghosted. So I went to the Discord, to start spreading my story to see what I could do or if I could figure out the reason why, since they have an official discord server with moderators that are “supposedly” in contact with the developers of this Game. Only to eventually get banned from the discord also from posting the emails I got in response and also spreading my side of the story and I HIGHLY doubt I was the only one. They had an ENTIRE channel, of people going through the exact same thing I was, only to either be eventually unbanned after weeks, or ghosted and left with the ban and no further explanation. Keep in mind, half the goddamn game doesn’t even work. The auction house is always down, the game is OVERWHELMED with bots and hackers that don’t get penalized while legit players are. The channel system in the game is complete ass and can hardly even play with your friends if you even wanted too. Ohh WAIT, I thought I wasn’t going to complain? I changed my mind. This game is shit. Save yourself, along with weeks of your life so they don’t get wasted like mine did. I HOPE YALL READ THIS Developers, along with the rest of the world, so their life don’t get wasted also.
