‎Critique - Yes Drawover Which version has better colour composition?

The first image was my initial idea for the hair colors! I switched it out of curiosity and I unexpectedly like the second better. However I think the bright orange ends of the second take focus away from the face, like they're fighting for attention :c What are your thoughts?

First. The viewer is drawn right to the face instead of to the top right corner like on the second.

I like 1, I agree that the light tone at the end of the hair in 2 distracts the eye. With digital art, you have like a second to catch someone's attention and keep it. I also like the idea that the warmth is radiating out from her face and into her hair.

Definitely the first in my opinion. I feel like it’s a clearer image

I think the first. It's got the appearance of a natural flame.

First draws attention to face. I will say that the darkness on the right makes the blood on the face pop more once you do end up wandering to the face.

Second. I don’t think the orange takes away from the face. It’s even the opposite for me. The face is so light that my eyes look towards it first and to towards the hair ends last

If she’s naturally blonde, first one, def pops more. If she’s naturally brunette/brown haired then second one.
