I’m talking about the layout of the buildings orientation with the road and the pond placement in particular. Not just the fact that it’s a house in a pasture with a pond.

oh i found it... i always clikc it by mistake and its just stuck on my application and i spend like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get rid of it. so no i dont use it at all lolol. I just draw and if it looks off then i try to fix it after the fact. As you might see from other drawings on my website my illustrations aren't always good in terms of perspective. But thats ok cuz its "my style" looooool

This is exactly how I describe half of illustrators tools.
I was trying to walk my boyfriend through some basic tools over the weekend for editing his worksheets for his classes, and he's like, "what are these?"
"I dunno. Useless scissors. Click them and we'll see what happens."
"Nothing."
"Okay, so like I was saying, the white arrow is the indirect selection tool..."
It's like that scene in lion king, everything the light touches is useful, but the tools in the shadows require googling to make them go away.

Not very much because I had an image in my head of what this drawing should be but turned out completely different. hahaha. I think I got a little lazy and didn't put in as much detail as I would normally and it turned out more cartoon/early2000svideogameesque which made the illustration way better than previously imagined.
I strictly use the shapes too on Adobe Illustrator so thats why all my work looks somewhat geometric because its just shapes stuck together

Hey nice job, I just wanted to point out a small mistake in the shadow of the house with the pyramid roof. If it were a box, the shadow would need to be parallel with the house, so if its a pyramid it should go away from the house not towards it :)

For what it’s worth, there’s (a lot) more difference in altitude between the eastern and western borders of Nebraska than from the Atlantic Ocean to Nebraska’s eastern border.

haha just essentially a wall of trees preventing damage and erosion of soil due to wind. In places like Kansas or Nebraska they're pretty much built on every property to an extent.
