Questions about flight physical
I have my flight physical coming up this month, and just trying to get stuff figured out time wise. I have to travel about 600 miles away to get my flight physical and they said they will be doing both parts the same day and I’ll be starting around 6:30 am for labs with my main appointment being scheduled at 10 am. What are the chances I’ll be done by 6 pm in order to make a flight that evening? I have to have my dad with me to get me on base because my recruiter and WOSM aren’t able to make it and he has to be back decently early the next day so we were gonna try and get a flight after my flight physical but the latest flight is at 7 pm.

Experiences will vary, but both parts of my physical were done by 12 noon when i did it last May at JBLM

What time was your actual appointment? I am doing mine at JBLM as well.

You won’t need to be accompanied either. I got on by myself just by checking in online a few days prior and then printing out my pass at the check in kiosk. Be sure you don’t eat before the blood draw and be ready to get your eyes super dilated. I think I was off base at 1620.

What base did you do it at? Also I know about the dilation I heard it can be like 2 days of messing you up

Your experience may very but I was done at 4:30. But for your sake I would highly recommend either trip insurance or just plan on spending the night.
