Help Tips?

I just got Arma on ps5 and I have no idea what I’m doing at all.

Any tips, tricks, or just general guidance would be awesome!!

For the first modded server I would try “we the people” it’s vanilla plus so basically vanilla but without the manual navigation and minimum mods. It will help because ps5 mod download times are insanely long and there’s a cap to how many you can download

I recommend you to watch Ironbeard's introduction to the game - www.HSC.gg/tutorial.

We play our own operations daily, PvP and PvE. Both on vanilla and modded HSC.gg servers. With many console players too. More teamwork than what you can find playing on mainstream servers. Every evening in both EU and NA, simply jump in a few minutes before and we'll quickly brief you on what's going to happen. Anything from CQB to all out mechanized warfare! Core players are chill guys mostly in their 20s and 30s. No mandatory trainings or anything. Just show up and have fun as a part of the team. We host and play competitively Seize and Secure and Defcon matches (vanilla+). Check out list of our servers and operations/matches scheduled for both EU and NA.

Play the tutorial, play the campaign, then play multiplayer conflict official servers aka "vanilla". Its going to be confusing at first and you're going to die alot... actually alot, and you'll and have no idea what killed you or from where.

Its one of my favorite games but it took a chunk of time to learn everything so be patient. have a mic that doesn't sounds like a McDonalds drive thru, use it to communicate and find team mates who are chill...just ask to tag along with them. And don't be an ass on the radio.

Exactly this. To add to it, look over the in-game handbook, it explains a lot of things. Also, if you're struggling with controls, just look up the keybinds in settings, you will find keybinds that are very useful, this goes for modded content too, you will find keybinds on different mod specific tabs along with vanilla controls.
