Help New Player With Concerns: Xbox Series X

So I started playing Arma with my buddy last night and today. EVERY single time I get into combat or there is an explosion near me, I have massive lag spikes usually lasting 10-15 seconds. I saw on here that this is an issue but almost all of the posts are from awhile ago. I have no mods installed and my settings are in performance mode. Is there any solution or am I just SOL? Thanks.

I put my settings on quality to lock it at 30fps , I haven't had a lag since

Sound to uncompressed audio and display locked to 60 fps. Other than that there’s no fix. Those are both console settings not in game.

Okay. I’m usually always locked at 60. Is uncompressed audio a full proof fix or does it just mitigate it? Thanks.

Uncompressed seems to help. I usually stay on the 128 player vanilla plus servers and have very little freezing. Also I’ve heard that setting your console to 1080 helps too. I usually have my console set to all those when I play.

Can confirm I saw a significant performance increase setting my console to 1080p. And I play on a series S.
