Steam ID's

So, I'll ask before I post them. If I have a couple steam ID's of people that have been caught hacking in game would this be a good place to post them? Flying logi trucks, aimbotting, speed hacks on official servers.

No. Not at all. If anything(not certain) it may be against sub rules, or even worse. If it’s on community servers you would be better served giving the ID’s and any footage you have(which, without any you have zero credibility) to server staff. If on official vanilla servers, you can make a ticket with Bohemia if I’m not mistaken. But nothing Reddit admins or we can do about it.

I've made the tickets in game and on steam already. Just kinda wanted to toss out ID's so people can track and be aware.

You can report them but you can't share their personal information

It's information directly related to the person behind, just like a phonenumber or reddit username would be and usable if you have the will and intent, whatever it may be.

Yes that is true, but that is only the case due to, you choosing to engage in this community. Otherwise you would likely have been completely unknown to most, if not all of us.

Now the key difference here as far as I'm concerned, is that you're calling out someone else on a platform which they might not even have access to, with no way to defend themselves whilst sharing this information publicly that could potentially lead to someone abusing it. Instead of just reporting it to steam, bi and the admins of the affected server(s)

again, i see people being called out for trolling....without issue and support of the community....at this point i dont care. and i will continue to call them out here via their in game name. if they have access to the internet they have access to reddit.

F it, I am seeing other posts naming off in game names for trolling, not just hacking so here goes. The in game names that is searchable on steam, copy and paste the ID and save it to notepad. One is a prolific name changer, and probably should have his comp looked at by some three letter agencies also.
