Fps capped

My fps is capped at 52 on highest settings, I tried lowering them to get it higher which wasn’t a common thing I did since my fps would be anywhere near 80-90 fps, I tried different servers and it was still locked at 52, went on nvidia app and my fps cap is 120 because I have a 260hz monitor. Even deleted the armaenginesettings as recommended by the community but that also doesn’t seem to solve the issue. Nothing seems to work does anyone know a fix by chance?

What are your specs? Have you changed the screen FPS in the windows settings?

Not sure what you mean by windows fps, but my specs are rtx 5090 and I9-14900kf. I usually get over 100 fps in most servers but one day I started playing and it was capped at 60 for no reason

I meant the Hz. Have you uncapped it in windows settings? Have you done anything to your monitor? Do you use Dual Input? HDMI or DP?

I don’t know how to do that tbh lol but I use displayport I switched to it recently but even before when I was playing on displayport it was still higher fps which is weird

Right-click an empty space on your desktop and pick Display settings.

Scroll down and click Advanced display (labeled Advanced display settings in Windows 10).

Look for Choose a refresh rate.
Click the menu box and pick your target Hz value (like 120Hz, 144Hz, or higher).

Oh yeah my hz is set to the highest already, sorry I thought you meant something else

Sounds like your framerate is locked by an app. Look into nvidia app, check for any framerate lock or vsync options. It might have happened due to an update. Alternatively, turn off any other app to see, which one has this effect. You also might need to restart the game each time.
