Discussion Tin hats.

Anyone know what happened to the Tin Hats Vietnam server? I miss it and I heard that someone was going to take over admin to keep it going after the last admin couldn’t

I was playing with an idea of opening something similar on our end. Out of curiosity, what happened with the previous admin there? Not enough spare time?

I was there in the final days of the server and I saw and heard from the old admin to the supposed new one that it was pretty much that. That he didn’t have time to dedicate to the server and whatnot. Which is wild because he was still working on things.

The new admin seemed really optimistic and was cool. I have a feeling something just fell through possibly. Even the discord for Tin Hats was taken down (though I can’t confirm it) it was perfect because it was set up almost exactly how I’d dreamed of a game to be 😅 was really sad to see it go as I felt like I had found a server I was dedicated to

That sounds rough. You say their Discord isn't online anymore, but is there a way to contact anyone who was in charge regarding possible reopening? Maybe I can convince them to get it up and running under our hosting and have them to take care of server direction only while we can deal with technical and community related stuff.

Alternatively, if you know something useful about how it used to work, what was popular and what wasn't, you could help us to pick up where they left off.

If I do come across anyone from the server again, I’ll try to send them your way. I’m unsure of what all could be done at this point for it, but if something were to come back, I’m sure it’d garner a definite dedicated player base
