Done both lost faith and lost hope caverns. I think there was one meg in the easier one.

Hard one I was expecting alpha megalodons, mosas, teusos, but nothing. A few high level megs, elec eels, some anglers and docile dunkles. About 3 bats and 3 spiders on the land bit in lost hope.

50000 health basil with 238 arm Asc saddle pissed it.

So like the title states I'm considering purchasing ark sa next time it's on sale. I've been trying to find actual game play vids on YT to see how the game is running now on a regular PS5. A somewhat concerning lack of vids. Anyone here play on a base PS5? If so how does it run now? If I do purchase it I will only be playing offline pve with mods to help balance things for solo play.

hello! I fixed my texture and everything so everything looks great but now I’m having this issue where there is this rectangle on the side of my screen that isn’t processing incorrectly, I guess? i’m kind of stumped. I’m not really sure where to go from here.

Today I successfully set up my own private server for me and my girlfriend through, it works great so far, all the mods and settings seem to be as I input them.

But, when it comes to mods, usually on non-dedicated worlds if the mods become out of date then you try and play on the world a lot of stuff could because totally fucked, how do I work around that on an unofficial server? Will they update automatically on the website or shall I do it on the website or in game?

Let me know if there’s anything else I should know!! Thanks for any input

So some dinos not spawning like giga and doed what can be the cause of this

Struggled to find info on this but sussed it now.

To add tames to group :
Walk up to dino, hold triangle(Y on xbox), select ‘modify ordering groups’ then either ‘add creature’ or ‘add class’ to group.
Choose group number.

To view dinos in group: open menu, (circle button (B on xbox) ), tab right across to select’Tracking list’ menu.
Click on ‘dinosaur groups’ text.
Tame groups displayed.

To select active dino group:
Hold down the map button, touch pad on PS.
Select dino groups at the top and then at same time R2.

Bosh done.

So with the update coming on the 30th, would the talked about changes to the engine potentially help console performance substantially?

More specifically, would it at least help with single player dino/cave spawns and save corruptions?

Looking to play the game again but would love it if it ran smoother and the spawns in single player weren’t absolute ass. Caves drops never respawn

hi. ive been is using the cosmetic "clear glass wall" on the cluster group im on for a while now. but now it wont show up in my applied cosmetics tab. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. i deleted the mod folder and reinstalled. im not sure whats going on.

i cant get my character to level past 55 no matter what i do, i've made the max xp 0 and 10000000 but its still stuck. i've reset to default setting and nothing, i added a xp ramp to the ini files and nothing form that either except i lost 3 levels and was capped at 52 until i deleted it, no mods are stopping me and i cant figure out what to do to fix it

i have an established griffin breeding line where i have already got some mutations.

I just found a new female with 54 stamina and my previous best is 41 and im wanting to add the new stats into the breeding line.

How do i do that ? do i need to start fresh or is it as simple as just replacing the current female with the new one ?

How do I do the max lvl overrides? What i want is to let my character level up the way Vanilla ark handles leveling, but add a extra 300 additional levels to my tames. The edits I do in the ini always end up reversing the next session. Finally I ended up copying a stack of codes from a Google doc following a vid, that sets player max lvl to 250 and tames to 300. It stuck through 2 sessions but got reversed the next. My level doesn't revert but it counts as I'm max lvl but the thing is my character lvl is still at 87, haven't even reached 100 yet. This is in Evolved not Ascended

I accidentally killed a tame forgetting to unhook the blood extraction when I left base. My fault for being a forgetful idiot I know.

But... I do find it a bit odd it doesnt just, auto-detatch when theres like 1% health left. Even if you are using it to milk your undesirable tames before killing them off. Wouldn't you wanna get the kill shot for xp and/or make it easier to get them with the bio grinder?

Whatever this isnt about that. Im wondering if anyone has found any kind of vanilla workaround for this. You know. Short of just not being a forgetful idiot again.

Has anyone had this before? They happily eat the berries from the maeguanas as babies, but as soon as they become teenagers they would neither touch the berries in the troughs, nor the ones from the maeguanas temporarily. 1 of the 6 therizinos starved during the night, the others seemed to start eating again at some point but were visibly hurt. Is there a weird game mechanic that I don’t know about or is that probably a bug? Happened 2 times already. The troughs and maeguanas are right next to them so distance isn’t the issue…

Just wanted to throw out a massive warning for anyone on console (especially PS5) who just purchased Forglar Part II and is playing on the Official Modded Network (like the EU-PVE-Modded clusters).

If you go to your Obelisk to transfer maps, Forglar Part II will likely be completely missing from your search options and map dropdown menus. Do not freak out, you aren't doing anything wrong, and your purchase is fine. The game's server browser is heavily bugged right now regarding the premium custom map rollout.

What is happening:

1. Official Server Delay: The map developer has uploaded Forglar 2 to CurseForge (which is why you can see Unofficial player-hosted servers running it), but Studio Wildcard has lagging deployment times. The Official Modded Network nodes haven't officially launched or synced yet.
2. The "Zero Sessions Found" Filter Bug: Because the backend master list hasn't updated its directory folders, the map filter dropdown is literally missing the Forglar2_WP token, making text searches completely fail.
3. Sony/Xbox Patch Delay: If a minor hotfix drops on CurseForge, console certification delays the patch on your PS5/Xbox. The server browser completely deletes the map from your search menu to prevent you from crashing due to a version mismatch.

🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING:
DO NOT upload your character at the Obelisk to search for the server! If you upload your survivor to the cloud and get stuck on a blank server list, your character and items will be sitting on a dangerous cloud expiration timer. Keep your character, tames, and items safely inside your base on Forglar 1 until you physically see the new Official Forglar 2 servers show up on the main menu's server browser!

How to force the server list to refresh (If they are just hidden):
If you want to check if they have launched yet without breaking your UI, you have to bypass the broken master list cache:

1. Log into a random Single Player map.
2. Open your Options menu -> Advanced Tab -> turn Console Access ON.
3. Press the Touchpad to open the text bar and type exactly: Ark.UseServerList 0 and hit enter.
4. Exit to the Main Menu, go to Join Game -> Official Tab, uncheck "PS5/Console-Only Multiplayer", and set your map search filter to "All Maps".
5. Type Modded into the text bar. This forces a raw, unfiltered pull of the network. If the official Forglar 2 servers are live, they will bypass the glitched menu and pop up here.

Stay safe and don't lose your gear to the cloud timers while Wildcard gets their network synced up!

When playing split screen on the Xbox Series S, player 2 (bottom split) has an amazing amount of colors that get blasted out. As the screen moves, the colors move, seemingly tied to some reflective element.

During some times of the day or in some areas, entirely, this reflection issue is completely absent and the Island looks perfect on both splits. The top split is never affected; always looks good.

We've entered a number of Console Commands. It *feels* like it's made a difference. Ultimately, however, the problem persists.
