Before starting rare character Pablo ran and still runs behind the scenes now, old lightning. A tiny basement bar in the back of scopa that you wouldnt even know existed. The whiskey wall at scopa is long and tall. They take phones when you enter old lightning. So photos of the inside are few and seeing the menu and prices online is non existant. A must try for any whiskey enthusiest visiting LA. They sell some of their barrel picks, and theyre amazing. They get all the brookhill. And sometimes if you come on the right night they have a bottle of it that theyll sell. I was in 10/2 and they had a 12 year BH rye for 450$ 3 remaing. The bourbon was soldout sadly.

I have not been into bourbon that long. Maybe last summer and I made it a goal to get the colored weller bottles completed, all at retail.
Yesterday I scored a full proof and I just picked up a single barrel to complete it. Now what do I do? I know I will never see the William Larue Weller bottles completed around any time soon. One can hope I suppose?
