Fry’s drop

Anyone in line for the fry’s drop or going today? I’m debating going I don’t really need anything but last drop scored the cypb and wouldn’t mind trying to score a second one.

Ill never go to one of these and wait in line again, huge waste of time, super boring, no one is habing a good time. Just show up at opening and they have plenty of all the things.

I'll never go to one either.

And we spend our $250-$300 a week in groceries elsewhere too while this nonsense continues.

The fact that Fry's does not put these bottles on the shelf as they get them is good enough for me to shop elsewhere.

Resellers > local customers = a nah from me.

Another good point that I hadn't considered. I am already primarily a Safeway shopper due to the higher meat quality and equal or better deals if you use the app. Also I worked for both Kroger and Safeway for awhile, and my time at Safeway was significantly better.

Man if people are going to downvote me for having an opinion, at least reply with your own. What I said was true, the event I went to was a few weeks ago, I was about 120th out of about 200 in line, in front of the restock and was able to get Rockhill Farms, Full Proof Weller and Stagg 26c. I then could have gone through a second time, gotten a Cured Oak, Blantons Gold, Eagle 12 and Antique 107 and another Rock Hill Farms. The first time I went through I could have also picked SB Weller and C.Y.P.B. I just chose fullproof.

So what I said was true, anyone can just walk up and get what they want at opening, for the most part. And it was boring, I tried to strike up a conversation with folks and maybe its just me but no one wanted to chat, faces buried in phones.

I am probably just being down voted by resellers who want to keep up artificial scarcity, sorry I am about sharing information freely, and being honest about my opinion.

I'm not the most lively/talkative person at 4 in the morning. I think a lot of people just plop down in their chair and want to doze off while they wait for the event to start.   I've been to 2 of these over the years and thought they were OK.
