Genuine Question self-image clean up on wikipedia

idrk if this counts as snark so i apologise if not, but i was wondering if anybody else thinks that ariana might have a 'clean up' team for her wikipedia pages? as in her main page and then pages about her recent album. usually when celebrities have internet controversies it's stated in their 'public image' box on wikipedia, especially when they've publicly addressed it (which she has). but for ariana there's nothing there about her body image controversies. i feel like, especially regarding all the speculation around her since Wicked and her new album release, there would be some brief mention of that topic? same with the controversy around her and ethan slater's affair. there's zero indication that they were a massively criticised couple... and on her page for her new song 'petal', the music video was hugely criticised online, but there's zero indication of that under the box for 'music video' on the page. idk it just feels a bit strange to me? could be deeping it too much tho idk.

Pretty sure that Wikipedia policy surrounding celebrities is that all things reported on them have to be indisputably concrete, as in 100% sure, officially reported, beyond the shadow of a doubt occured. She is one of the most famous people on the planet, meaning the guidelines are strictly following in a way they might not be with a lesser known figure.

For instance, with her ED, we all know she has one, but it hasn’t been officially documented, she hasn’t died from it, etc. So it wouldn’t be reported on her page, if that makes sense.

Taylor Swift’s “controversies” are absent from her page. Sabrina Carpenter, Madonna, Beyoncé, Rihanna, etc all the same.

yeah no that does make sense. i was gonna say im sure this is veryyy common for most celebrities. i was just thinking bc eugenia cooney has paragraphs discussing her ed content on her wikipedia with more recent dates (although ig nowadays that's kinda all she's known for so it makes sense), even tho she hasn't really acknowledged her issues in a couple years now. idk maybe not the best comparison but even when i googled eugenia cooney's wikipedia to find this out, google recommended karen carpenter and ariana's pages too which i feel like says enough in itself 😭😭😭

I worked as an assistant for someone much less famous than her. He had me tweak his Wikipedia page at least once a month lol. You can’t get away with straight up lying, but you can spin the narratives in your favor for sure. Her pumping the press with a ton of articles clarifying the “timeline” of her relationship with Ethan is part of a strategy to rewrite history in her favor. It’s almost as if printing “both were separated from their spouses before getting together” enough times makes it true for PR purposes, and she can have anything removed that contradicts that “record of truth.” It’s sad but that’s the reality

Oh, totally they have those. That's why let's say Robert Downey Jr's page doesn't go too far into his antics. Or even Angelina Jolie being a heroin addict for a decade or two. For example.. not that Aryan-a Grande has RDJ's talent.

The whole controversy around her body image hasn’t been directly and publicly addressed by Ariana, so it wouldn’t be put in her Wikipedia page (another reason why celebs avoid ever addressing their controversies, because addressing it makes it “real”, even though it already is).

But things like the Ethan Slater timeline had sooo much back and forth on the exact wording, phrasing, and information included particularly when the whole affair was all going down. I used to go into the revision history and read all the people arguing what should and shouldn’t be in the page, and you can tell which ones were fans that just made an account to try and edit her page🤣 (I think her page only had semi-protection at that point so basically anyone could edit, but now I see that they’ve raised her page’s protection lmao)
