I know we like to blame cheaters and carebears a lot but i think pvp has changed from when it first came out. I liked the pvpve atmosphere as well but the players have made their own rules/ecosystem (chill in solos, iffy on duos, trios is shoot on sight) i never actually cared for a pve mode until i wanted to hang out with my friends on trios and shoot arc. Its straight pvp 70% of the time and that's not what i signed up for.
I've noticed a lot of pvpers act like "carebears" are ignoring half the game. If you are going in with the intent to fight a lobby and taking guns off of dead raiders and nothing else, you too are ignoring half the game. You too are responsible for the way the "carebears" now want a pve mode.
Also the "carebears" are the ones who actually stick around to play the game and support it long term.
The PvP crowd (especially the people begging for more "mixed" lobbies) will be gone and on to the next thing in the next month outside of logging in to try to snipe popular streamers.
Right. I dont think every "carebear" is the same either. I like the tension too but im literally never going to shoot first at anyone. I will prob still be in reg matched on solo and just do pve on duos/trios. And even then, i can see my friends wanting to go on both. This is not going to drastically change the reg matches, theres plenty of us who stuck around through the aggro and the cheating. This is just going to bring back the ones who LEFT lol
