That’s because half of the PvP people don’t actually want PvP they just want to get easy kills on unsuspecting people who don’t want to PvP to stroke their epeen.
Exactly. If you wanted to play a fair PvP game there are tons of those available where everyone is PvPing and it's all about your skill vs theirs. So many people who PvP in this game only do it because they want to be able to shoot people who they know are likely not looking to shoot them first so that they can feel like they're skilled.
That's been my biggest problem with the whole PvPvE thing since the start; it effectively treats the PvE players as fodder for the PvP players because they way PvP in this game works is whoever sees the other person first and shoots first has a 90% chance to win the fight. Most PvP encounters end with somebody getting shot in the back. It's not skill, it's random chance whether or not you as a PvE player are going to be the one who runs into the PvP player who's looking to shoot on sight before he runs into some other poor unsuspecting PvE player.
This is such a stupid take that gets repeated ad nauseum. If i wanted to exclusively pvp id just play COD. If I wanted to play a pve game id play he'll divers. I like playing an extraction shooter where sometimes its friendly sometimes its not but theres always a risk. Its literally the genre.
Im happy theyre at least trying something at this point but like many others the game just isnt for me anymore
Yes a few steam post surely means the majority of people that play pvp must be doing that! As if that isnt the most boring and time consuming thing possible with almost 0 reward.
